S/he will communicate an outgoing and friendly professional demeanor not only to customers but to staff as well. Work Hours Normal work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with a rotating responsibility of staying until 6:30pm. This position may require attendance at various bank/educational functions before, during, or after normal business hours. Essential Job Functions • Efficiently and accurately input and maintains customer information for all applicable eBanking systems including but not limited to software programs used to view websites or files. • Oversees complex business banking document review for compliance to regulatory requirements and maintains supporting documentation.  (EBanking Technician 2) • Responsible for daily review and reconciliation of daily ACH reports and wire fraud suspect reports and escalates situations to management as necessary. • Identifies and resolves customer concerns that best fits the customer’s needs via phone, email and chat features within banking guidelines and requirements. • Coordinates resolution with vendors or other departments serving as a liaison between the customer and other team members. Scope of Responsibility/ Decision Making EBanking Technician 1 and a EBanking Technician 2 have no supervisory responsibilities.  These positions report to the Department Supervisor, however, may also take instruction from a department lead.  A Technician 1 works under moderate supervision and a Technician 2 works under limited supervision.  In both positions errors can be difficult to detect or resolve and potential errors can be of significance. A Technician 1 has contact with others that usual involve routine issues for purposes of giving or obtaining information where as a Technician 2 has contact with both routine and moderately complex issues. A Technician 1 has some latitude for independent decision making which are usually limited to choosing between 2 or 3 known options.  A Technician 2 has access more advanced systems and work requires more analytical ability, judgment and ingenuity.  There is a moderate amount of discretion but may be reviewed by the supervisor prior to action. Problems encountered by a Technician 1 are relatively simple in nature requiring some research to determine the best solution from a limited number of prescribed options.  A Technician 2 will typically encounter more complex problems requiring analysis of data and weighing the outcomes of a decision.  A Technician 2’s position requires more advanced training. S/he should exercise common sense and good judgment in decision making and should understand the branch/department goals, standards, policies and procedures established by management. Education/ Experience Required:  Technician 1 - High School Graduate or GED and demonstrated customer service experience.        Technician 2 – High School Graduate or GED and demonstrated customer service experience plus at least 1 year experience in banking and using software programs. S/he will train and develop employee’s skills for the processing department, coach and lead by example to ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved.  S/he will administer bank policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain effective departmental operations minimizing risk to the Bank.  The Pre-Processing Supervisor will fully support the Bank’s mission and vision by emphasizing positive attitudes, positive working relationships and overall impact on customer service.  S/He will continually seek to improve and refine processes and procedures and hold each team member accountable for quality.  S/he will communicate an outgoing and friendly professional demeanor not only to customers but to staff as well.   Job Duties:   •    Responsible for supervising the mortgage disclosure and file-setup employees including developmental coaching, mentoring,       counseling, retention, performance, annual and other reviews, payroll, and time off.   •    Partner with Mortgage Processing Manager and HR team on interviewing internal and external candidates, hiring, and on      boarding new hires. •    Partner with Mortgage Processing Manager in overseeing pipelines for loans requiring Initial/Re-Disclosures and File Setup      work to ensure loans are handled within stated timelines.  •    Acts as liaison between closing, processing, underwriting, sales, post-closing, and production/ pre-processing teams. •    Handle escalated calls related to mortgage pre-processing activities (disclosures and file-setup). •    Maintains turn times as designated by departmental policy. •    Provide second reviews/ audits on disclosures and file setups.  •    Review loans to verify data accuracy based on guidelines for specific loan types •    Ensure deliverables are met for mail / E-disclosures packages, Change of Circumstances, Denials, Loan Fallouts, and Notice       of Incompleteness. •    Maintains knowledge of bank’s residential loan policy, closing costs and compliance standards.      •    Perform additional duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: •    High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred. •    Two – three years of experience in mortgage processing or pre-processing. •    Proven supervisor or mentoring skills with the ability to deal effectively with a broad range of employees and customers. •    Proven ability to define needs, analyze, and solve problems.  •    Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines preferred. •    Working experience in mortgage loan origination systems preferred. •    Excellent customer service skills.  •    Effective written and oral communication skills. •    Excellent organization skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. •    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. •    Professional and courteous. Work Hours Work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Candidates must be able to work beyond this timeframe as business necessity dictates.  This position may require attendance at various bank/educational functions before, during, or after normal business hours. Essential Job Functions • Review all new indirect/direct consumer loans and commercial loans post-closing, and prior to input to the bank’s core system • Process all contracts received from our Dealer Network • Calculate Dealer Reserve payments and monitor/collect Dealer Reserve “charge-backs” on a monthly basis • Maintenance on booked loans, including loan amendments, modifications, and renewals. • Perfect lien placement on all collateral, including real estate recordings • Process all new and renewal UCC filings, including monthly reporting • Maintain and monitor all loan exception items and distribute a monthly report to appropriate personnel • Review title commitments, and process title exceptions to obtain Final Title Policy Essential Skills to Perform the Job • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills. • Detail oriented. • Demonstrates good knowledge of loan documents. • Proficient in using the personal computer including Word and Excel.   • Ability to Multi-task. • Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills. Scope of Responsibility/ Decision Making S/he should exercise common sense and good judgment in decision making and should understand the branch/department goals, standards, policies and procedures established by management.  S/he will typically make routine decisions without consulting their supervisor. They will seek approval on complex and unusual situations from their supervisor. Education/ Experience Required:  High School Graduate or GED; Associates Degree in Business related field preferred. 3 to 5 years’ experience in all loan applications (Business, Personal and Credit Line); with an emphasis on loan documentation, collateral and State and Federal regulatory requirements. Certification None required
